How to Begin
Actualizing your Natural Element Home™ is best accomplished by following our proven process, the Design-Materials-Build Solution™. To get the process started, just give us a call and ask for one of our Building Consultants. We will discuss your overall project and goals with you and will focus on meeting your needs and expectations. Once we have properly defined your objectives, we can begin the process of completing your home.

An initial payment will get you started, and all monies paid are credited toward your purchase of materials and services. With your first payment, the following services will be immediately initiated:

Financing (if required) will be started with our in-house financing solutions from Wells-Fargo, since 1850. We have a wide variety of financing options, and our Financial Consultant will assist you in choosing the best solution and initiating the process.
Design services will begin with our in-house design team. Whether we are starting from scratch with a new design or simply modifying one of our stock plans, you will enjoy the design process. We will get your initial desires on paper and work with you through the revision process to get your preliminary plans just as you want them.
Materials selection services will be initiated with the Natural Element Home™ Style Guide. You and your Building Consultant may peruse our huge selection of unique natural materials and decorative log and timber components to create the materials palette best suited for your tastes and the nature of your building site. Your materials selections will be coordinated with your plan development and designated in your blueprints.
Builder selection will be initiated with due diligence services. From our vast national network of builders, selected builders will be screened by our Building Consultants with references and background checks made in an effort to bring you several local builders to choose from. Builders will be familiarized with your project, your goals and our advantages in construction.

Upon approval of your preliminary plans, turn-key estimates are refined with the builder to meet your budget constraints. Additional monies will be required to move the plans into the production sequence. Everything is checked against local building code and engineering requirements, and the final construction documents will be completed. Manufacturing can begin with a simple letter-of-credit from your lender, and delivery of materials will be made when the builder is ready. Technical Assistance is available for you and the builder before, during and after construction to insure a smooth build and a high-performance home.

Before you know it, your construction is underway, and your Natural Element Home™ will start to grow. Be prepared for lots of visitors during construction because your new home will draw a lot of attention. You will meet a lot of new friends, and you will start to have a feeling of true satisfaction as your home develops.

And then the real fun starts……move-in! You actually start living in harmony with nature and enjoying the many benefits of your Natural Element Home® and your special building site.
